2-Ply 100% Wool – Cotswold/Merino Blend – 001 – Natural White

Description

Cotswold is an extremely stong wool with lots of luster and natural curl. The Cotswold Mule Spinner 2-Ply 100% Wool Yarn is a light weight yarn made from 60% Cotswold wool and 40% Merino wool. This specialty yarn is ideal for hard-wearing applications such as hand-knit slippers or woven rugs. The Cotswold provides stength while the Merino provides loft. It is also excellent for hand-dying where the natural lustre of the Cotswold brings the colours alive. Only Natural White is available at this time.

Price is per 4 oz skein.

There are approximately 198 m or 216 yd per 112 gms / 4 oz skein. For knitting, we recommend 4mm to 5mm needles.

Please note: due to the small batch nature of our yarns, colour pooling can occur (though we work very hard to avoid it). When knitting large swatches of a single colour, we recommend introducing a new skein of yarn slowly by alternating skeins row for row.
